Alison Weir on Mary Boleyn: Was She a Failure?

October 23, 2011

Alison is a historical biographer and novelist.  She examines the life of Mary Boleyn as the sister who lost the king to her sister Anne and married a commoner. Weir is the author of the book "Mary Boleyn: The Mistress of Kings."

Did I hear right? This author thinks that "being put in a position of being unable to say no is not rape" Really, what planet is this woman from? I'm shocked that the TTBOOK interviewer didn't call her on this outrageous statement.
