Carl Honore, the unofficial Godfather of the world-wide Slow Movement, feels that change is naturally...slow. He speaks about the cultural revolution that is the "philosophy of slow".
"Slow" this and that has had some slack currency on organs of NPR. It's also heard in the blather associated with the alarmingly large part of what was once "Progressive" thought's descent into dead-end food fetishism, but in few other places.
Personally, I just had a week's worth of slow behind a couple of "device-enabled" idiots in the supermarket checkout line.
