David Kaiser on "How the Hippies Saved Physics"

October 2, 2011

A few maverick physicists in the 1970s revived interest in the philosophical dimensions of physics - especially quantum mechanics - by investigating some of the deepest questions in science:  quantum entanglement, the connection between quantum reality and consciousness, even the paranormal.  Some actually managed to get CIA funding for their research on ESP.

The subtitle is "An Overview Of The New Physics" and it's been more than 30 years since I read it. But all that time it's been patiently waiting there on my bookshelf. So I took it down this morning and am looking forward to becoming reacquainted. Thanks, TTBOOK.
