George Lakoff on "Don't Think of an Elephant"

Political scientist and linguist George Lakoff is the author most recently of “Don’t Think of an Elephant: Know Your Values, Frame the Debate.”  He tells Steve Paulson that Conservatives have devoted a lot of thought, care and money to developing a rhetoric that advances their social agenda. They’ve even persuaded so-called “objective” journalists to use their language.
