Lehrer tells Steve Paulson that creativity is not a single gift possessed by the fortunate few, but is actually a variety of distinct thought processes that we can all learn to use more effectively. Lehrer explains how Bob Dylan reinvented both himself and rock and roll when he wrote “Like A Rolling Stone.”  He also talks about how 3M engineer Arthur Fry daydreamed his way to the invention of Post-It notes and why brainstorming doesn’t work.
