A production of
Ginger Strand talks with Anne Strainchamps about her book, "Killer on the Road: Violence and the American Interstate."
Interesting to hear John Waters talk about the type of people that picked him up.
"a Policeman, a coal miner, a ministers wife and an African American girl taking her child to day care".
Does the African American girl not qualify to be described as the other people are here without an indicator of colour or race. Perhaps he simply could have said a Mother taking her child to day care?
She is also obviously old enough to have a child and to be driving yet she is called a girl.
