Steve Jones on the Y Chromosome

Steve Jones is a geneticist at London’s University College.  His new book is “Y: The Descent of Man.”  Jones tells Jim Fleming that biologically men, who have a Y chromosome, are the second sex. Many species are entirely female, but having males adds the advantage of genetic diversity.
