A new wave of Native writers is coming of age. They’re fierce, fresh, original. Today they’re MFA students at the Institute American Indian of Arts. But in a few years, you may see them on the best-seller lists. Already, people are talking about a new Native renaissance. And at the center of it is a one-of-a-kind MFA program at the IAIA, in Santa Fe. Director Jennifer Foerster told Charles that the goal is to rewrite the literary landscape.
