We are so happy to introduce the two newest members of our TTBOOK production team: Haleema Shah and Shannon Henry Kleiber.

left to right: Shannon Henry Kleiber and Haleema Shah

You’ll be hearing and seeing their work soon but in the meantime, we thought you’d like to get to know our incredibly talented new colleagues.

Like so many great public radio producers, Haleema Shah started out at Chicago Public Media. She’s done stints at NPR and with On Being, and she’s just coming off a grueling two years as a daily live talk show producer here at WPR. We fell in love with her voice and personality in this interview with Milwaukee R&B artist Lex Allen, and knew we wanted to hear more of her on-air.

Shannon Henry Kleiber had a sparkling career in print before we lured her into radio. She was a columnist and staff writer at the Washington Post for seven years, where she wrote a “must-read” column on tech culture and people. Her book about those heady, buzzy days,"The Dinner Club," is fascinating -- an inside view of the tech titans and venture capitalists who built the internet universe. Shannon has the wide-ranging curiosity that drives all of our producers, plus mad writing talent.

With her and Haleema on board, TTBOOK feels jet-fueled.
