We’ll likely look back at March 2020 as when our world changed in some way, big or small, temporary or forever. At "To The Best Of Our Knowledge," we hope you will join us, more than ever, as our connection to human voices becomes more profound as we live apart.
You can hear us on the radio, at ttbook.org, or in any podcast feed. We (Anne, Steve, Charles, Mark, Angelo, Joe and Shannon) are all still working and creating shows, and we’d love to hear from you. Is there an inspiring archive show you’d like us to find for you to listen to again? An interview you think we should do? A topic you’d love us to dive into?
This week, we are re-airing “Music Beyond Genre,” as music gives us joy and is accessible from most anywhere we are, even if it is in our own heads. Maybe you are home making your own music. My daughter’s fiddle class met by Zoom this week, like the virtual violin lessons in China. Or maybe you’re digging out some old records, or adding to your Spotify playlist, or just turning on your radio for the serendipity of the sound that emerges in that moment.
All over the world, we are finding some solace in music, from the streaming of the Metropolitan Opera, to the sharing from balconies in Italy, to children serenading quarantined elderly neighbors in Ohio.
We’d love to hear what you’re listening to, now, and how you still have music in your lives. Or, even, just how you are doing. Really. Email us at listen@ttbook.org. We’ll be here.
