Michele Good was born in Chicago and, in 4th grade, was taken by her parents against her will to northern Wisconsin. There she attended a four- room schoolhouse (no kidding) and spent the bulk of her childhood playing in the woods of Oneida and Vilas counties (which, who knew, turned out to be lots of fun). After earning the much-coveted title of Aquarama Queen, she left the Northwoods to study theatre and politics at Ripon College. Post-graduation, in pursuit of a life on the stage, Michele traveled the world -- studying, performing and working a vaaaaaaast number and wiiiiiiide variety of predominately temporary administrative and managerial positions in almost every business and industry on the planet - from fashion to securities to transformer manufacturing. She attended the Actors Studio in London, England and studied improvisation at the Second City in Chicago, Illinois. She has negotiated union contracts with the IBEW (International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers), so back off. She is co-Founder of Laboratory Theatre which performs at the Bartell Theatre in Madison, Wisconsin (so go see a show) and Regional and Weekend Announcer/Board Op for Wisconsin Public Radio. You can hear Michele from anywhere in the world by going to wpr.org/livestreaming and clicking on the "Ideas Network" on Sunday afternoons from Noon-5 pm every other weekend, then call 800-747-7444 and tell them to give Michele more airtime or her own weekend or late night show.
