Kyra Maya Phillips is a writer and social innovation specialist.

She is a regular speaker, commentator and consultant on the topics of innovation, creativity and change management, and has worked with a diverse range of organisations, including Barclays, Barclaycard, ALDI, Nike, Eight Inc., USTWO and many others. She has given talks at The Conference, the London School of Economics, University of Bristol, The Stranger Collective and many others on the power of looking for inspiration in unlikely places.

She is a co-founder of The Point People, a collective of innovators, artists, and entrepreneurs committed to driving systemic change for a more equitable society. In the past, Kyra worked as a journalist at The Guardian, as a consultant at SustainAbility, and as a project manager at Business in the Community. She is a graduate of The London School of Economics and Political Science.

Together with her friend, Nico Luchsinger, she curates Snail Mail, a slow monthly newsletter which only shares long-lasting, in-depth content. For The Point People, she writes a weekly newsletter calledMarginalia, which compiles content spanning a variety of topics including philosophy, art, literature, science, music and psychology.

She grew up in Caracas, Venezuela, and Miami, Florida, and now lives in London with her husband and son.
