
David G. Robertson holds a Ph.D. in Religious Studies from the University of Edinburgh. His research examines connections between conspiracist and millennial ideas, and more broadly,contemporary alternative spiritualities and popular culture. He is the author of UFOs, Conspiracy Theories and the New Age: Millennial Conspiracism (Bloomsbury, 2016), and editor of After World Religions: Reconfiguring Religious Studies (with Christopher Cotter, Routledge, 2016) and a special edition of the journal Nova Religio on conspiracy theory narratives in new and alternative religions (2015). He is also founding editor and podcast co-host of The Religious Studies Project (www.religiousstudiesproject.com), co-editor of the journal Implicit Religion, and a committee member of the British Association for the Study of Religions.
