Chris Larimer is an Associate Professor of Political Science at the University of Northern Iowa. He is the co-author of The Public Policy Theory Primer, The Public Administration Theory Primer (2nd edition), and has authored or co-authored several articles that have appeared in political science journals. Chris currently serves as President of the Iowa Association of Political Scientists and is a past President of the Great Plains Political Science Association. Chris is a regular guest on Iowa Public Radio and serves as the political analyst for KWWL television news. Chris has been quoted in the Los Angeles Times, the USA Today, the Washington Times, National Public Radio, US News &World Report, and was a guest columnist for the New York Times: Room for Debate. His research with Alan Gerber (Yale University) and Don Green (Columbia University) on voting behavior has been discussed by The Washington Post, the Atlantic, Campaigns and Elections magazine, Smart Money magazine, and the New York Times ‘Freakanomics’ blog.
