Deirdre Kennedy

Deirdre has spent 20 years as a broadcast journalist. She has written and produced radio stories for All Things Considered, Morning Edition, Marketplace, On the Media, Performance Today, The Infinite Mind, Latino USA, Deutsche Welle, California Health Line and the BBC World Service.  For ten years she was a news anchor and reporter for NPR affiliate KQED FM in San Francisco.  She also wrote and produced TV news for KTVU Channel 2 in Oakland California.  Deirdre started her career in television -- as a desk editor and writer for NBC’s London bureau and ITN’s World News and Channel 4 News in London, England.  She has a degree in Rhetoric from U.C. Berkeley and she appreciates a good argument.
