Jack Gottschalk

Jack Gottschalk is a best selling author, a frequent guest on television and radio, and a crisis consultant. A lawyer, former prosecutor, reporter and editor, Jack Gottschalk was the host of a cable TV show, Legally Speaking.

Gottschalk’s books, so far nine of them, have covered a wide variety of subjects to include public relations, general management, crisis communications, international trade, modern maritime piracy and terrorism, and the history of fire around the world from before Nero’s Rome. The last topic, in a book called Firefighting, was on The New York Times Best Seller list for six weeks.

In addition to writing, television appearances, and consulting Gottschalk has appeared before community and business groups as well as colleges and universities. He holds a master’s in General Management from The American College, a master’s degree in International Relations from Salve Regina University (magna cum laude) a law degree from the University of Baltimore, and did additional graduate study at Columbia University. He is a member of Pi Sigma Alpha (Political Science Honor Society), the U.S. Naval War  College Foundation (alumni member), and the Association of Former Intelligence Officers.
