Jonathan Gold is a Los Angeles Times restaurant critic and author of Counter Intelligence: Where to Eat in the Real Los Angeles. Previously, he was a restaurant critic for the L.A. Weekly and Los Angeles, Gourmet and California magazines. Jonathan has won seven James Beard Awards for his reviews and in 2007 was the first food writer to win a Pulitzer Prize for criticism.
