One of the best runners on the planet is a woman you’ve probably never heard of: Suprabha Beckjord. Her race is the annual 3,100 mile “self-transcendence run.” It’s held every year on a single half-mile loop in Queens, New York. Her personal record is running 63 miles a day for 49 days. She did it not just once, but 13 years in a row.
